Rabbi Menachem Moscovitz

Executive Director

Originally from New York, Rabbi Moscovitz comes to Mesivta of Las Vegas with a broad range of experience and expertise. Rabbi Moscovitz graduated from the Rabbinical Seminary of America, capping many years of intense study in the areas of Talmudic Theory, Jewish law, and Jewish ethics. He also received a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Trident University.

Rabbi Moscovitz has served in several educational and administrative capacities. Most recently, he worked with the Las Vegas Kollel, teaching Adult Education classes and engaging individuals in one-on-one study sessions. He was also tasked with creating and implementing various social programs under the auspices of the Kollel. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Rabbi Moscovitz served as the 5th grade rebbi/Judaics instructor at Yeshiva Derech HaTorah in New York, where he demonstrated his expertise at introducing Talmudic study to his young students. He has also served as Managing Director for the Long Island Torah Network, a New York-based Outreach and Education Center for Adults. His responsibilities there included supervising the day-to-day operations of the institution, ensuring a smooth running and effective organization.

Currently, Rabbi Moscovitz teaches Chumash (Bible) and Talmud at the Mesivta. He enjoys applying the timeless lessons from the lives of our forefathers to our world today. He also enjoys helping the students comprehend the methodology and structure of Talmud and enabling them to begin to study it on their own. Rabbi Moscovitz also serves as Executive Director, where he focuses on community relations and development, helping to ensure a stable, sustainable school.
